About the wine

Created in 1895 by the wine growers of Ribeauville, Cave de Ribeauville – being the oldest cave in France - is a pioneer winery in Alsace. Even today, from generation to generation, the wine growers perpetuate the same solidarity and the same willingness to progress. The collection range has the aim to represent the Alsace grape varieties - wines that are flavorful and versatile, each with its own individual personality - and showcasing their true expression.

Often called “the king of Alsace”, Riesling is the most respected grape variety in this region. Dry and racy, with distinctive and harmonious aromas from citrus fruits such as lime or grapefruit to mineral aromas like flint and steel. This lean minerality follows through to the palate and gives the wine a long, beautiful persistent finish.

Seems destined to partner the freshest of fishes, cooked very simply. Also pairs well with seafood, on appetisers with crudités and canapé or on its own sitting on the patio during a hot summer day.

To be enjoyed young to take advantage of its aromatic richness. It will age favorably for 2 to 6 years. Serve between 8 and 10°C.
